By joining the Hoover Alumni Association the rewards are many. Supporting the school and staff in their efforts to educate deserving young people is first and foremost. All dues and donations are tax deductible.
Seventy-five percent (75%) of your dues and one hundred percent (100%) of donations goes towards students for scholarships, because of our affiliation with Dollars for Scholars, students attending a participating college or university receive matching funds from those institutions.
The Alumni officers and Board work to raise funds through donations and by the sale of Hoover Products. Alumni select scholarship recipients, review student portfolios and act as mentors and tutors.
Please join today by completing the membership form and mailing it to the address on the form.
We also have a special scholarship program, Hoover Dollars for Scholars, which has raised and provided nearly $2000,000 in student scholarships in just a few short years. Dollars for Scholars is currently raising $25,000 in matching funds in response to a gift from Jack and Mary Buckley Goodall (class of 1956). Write a separate check to "Dollars for Scholars" if you want to make a donation.
